Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing therapy and support to female offenders struggling with substance use and mental health issues in a Utah state corrections facility, including assessments, treatment planning, and group or individual sessions to aid recovery.

The role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and may start at a lower level for those pursuing full licensure.

Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and challenges related to substance use disorders.
Treatment Planning: Utilize independent judgment and discretion to diagnose clients and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.
Therapeutic Interventions: Administer and facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions, following established treatment protocols and therapeutic modalities.
Client Progress: Document client progress, maintain accurate case histories, and prepare reports to track and communicate treatment outcomes effectively.
ASAM's: Administer the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessments as required and ensure appropriate treatment planning based on ASAM criteria.
Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, collaborating with the clinical team when necessary.
Education and Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to enhance client care and advocate for their needs.Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while working with sensitive client information.

Additional Information License as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Mental Health Counselor required.
If the position is filled as a Caseworker III the selected candidate shall obtain full license as a Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Mental Health Counselor within thirty (30) months from date of hire.
