Full Job Description

This position is located at Milton E. Long Library which is a part of Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: High School Diploma OR Two (2) years High School education PLUS three (3) months of work experience. Major Duties:

  • Following basic and well-established library procedures, performs duties related to circulation, acquisition, disposal of library materials, and collection maintenance and preservation.
  • This includes charging/discharging library materials, processing over dues, repairing damaged materials and explaining library policies to patrons.
  • Shelves books and materials in accordance with library SOP.
