Job Highlights
The Revenue Agent 2 is responsible for investigating and collecting from simple to complex timeloss overpayments stemming from injury claims.
In this role, you’ll use your customer service skills to explain the origin of the delinquent overpayment debt and work with diverse customers who, at times, may be demanding or hostile.
You will also be making prompt and accurate decisions, which may involve legal action.
Our ideal candidate for this position is someone who is a quick learner that possesses strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills.
You will be working with a group of seasoned dynamic professionals. Additionally, you will make important decisions and execute appropriate legal actions under limited supervision.
Your skills at resolving issues with customers that are difficult, uncooperative, evasive, reluctant to furnish information, and may be concealing assets and income will be utilized.
This position specifically connects to the agency strategic Goal #3 “Make it easy to do business with L&I” and Goal #4 “Help honest workers, businesses and providers by cracking down on the dishonest ones.”

Note: The assigned duty station for this position will be Union Gap, Washington or Kennewick, Washington. The incumbent will be required to be in the office during the training/probationary period.
