About the Team:
Under Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) Chief Information Officer (CIO), Technology Business Management (TBM) serves as the industry standard for operating Information Technology (IT) like a business.
The L&I TBM Program is responsible for managing, monitoring, tracking and reporting all IT expenditures for the agency.
Including establishing governance, policies, standards, practices, and processes needed to monitor IT investments on an ongoing basis.
Overall, the TBM Program provides IT cost transparency to L&I agency's executive leaders, business stakeholders, WaTech, the Washington State Office of Financial Management (OFM), the state legislature, and others external to the agency.
This transparency not only provides insight into the agency's IT spending but also allows the agency to make business decisions pertaining to its IT investments.
About the Role:
This Business Analyst performs activities and processes with autonomy and independent judgment for multiple projects at the same time.
If chosen for this role, you will use your expert level technical knowledge and skills to analyze, design, and create solutions that resolve highly complex issues with high impact to internal and external customers.
You will provide leadership and guidance to peers and less experienced staff within the IT Division including the TBM program, and will be a crucial facilitator and subject matter expert within L&I.
