This position independently administers and manages the Provider Education program's Learning Management System (LMS), to support the education and compliance of medical providers across the state in successfully operating within the workers’ compensation system. Operating within established regulatory frameworks, professional standards, and program objectives, the position applies discretion, analytical expertise, and creativity to design, adapt, and maintain LMS processes, data systems, and workflows. Position manages course content and user access; analyzing training data to monitor compliance and target interventions; ensuring data integrity and confidentiality; and developing strategies for continuous process improvement. By partnering with instructional designers, compliance staff, and other stakeholders, the position tailors instructional and technological principles to the program’s specific operational needs, enhancing system performance, optimizing user experience, and ensuring content remains current, relevant, and engaging. The position also provides first-tier technical support and leverages feedback and professional judgment to continuously enhance LMS functionality, addressing critical incidents and escalated priorities with resourcefulness and strategic thinking. Through this work, the position directly influences the Division’s ability to deliver high-quality, effective training and maintain compliance across a statewide provider network.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Only:
Six (6) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position to include: experience in education, instructional design, adult learning, database or data management, educational technology support, program or project coordination.

OR


Education and Experience:

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to six (6) years


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) in a government, healthcare, or other regulated environment.

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, specifically related to user engagement and training compliance.

  • Proven ability to develop and document new processes and workflows for an LMS.

  • Experience providing technical support and training to end-users with varying levels of technical expertise.

  • Experience with SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model)

  • Experience with managing system-wide user permissions.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (such as WCAG) for online learning content.

  • Experience performing similar duties as a State of Colorado classified employees.
