About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation/FamCamp on Ellsworth AFB. This position is considered regular part time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of 1-year of practical knowledge of recreational camping and lodging rules/procedures.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to apply the principles of lodging operations and recreation management. Must be able to read, write.
and speak English and have general knowledge skills of computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats. Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs on an infrequent basis.
Major Duties:
Primary oversees a workforce of employees assigned to Recreation Lodging (Cedar Lodge/FamCamp) in their day-to-day activities and addresses any personnel issues to the Outdoor Recreation Manager to directly handle.
Answers telephones, takes reservations, and administers automated reservation system. Collects user fees, prepares daily cash collect reports, and safeguards all funds and controlled documents.
Responsible for maintaining documentation to prepare as needed budget information on Recreational Lodging to include personnel expenses, supplies, and maintenance.
Reports minor maintenance to CE and identifies potential safety risks to supervisor in a timely manner. Required to operate a government vehicle to travel between locations.
Assists Outdoor Recreation Manager with equipment rental and assists with base wide events. Oversees overall Outdoor Recreation operations in absence of Manager.
