Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to ensure defense contractors meet contract standards and quality requirements, while managing risks to protect government interests.
It includes reviewing contracts, communicating with suppliers, and evaluating their quality systems to recommend approvals or fixes.

To qualify for a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.
To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes: Reviewing contracts and technical data packages to identify the specification requirements which the contractor's process must meet.
Designing, planning and implementing an effective risk management program to ensure that all threats to the successful delivery of the contract are addressed and mitigated in the Government's best interests.
