This job is for a lead police officer at a Navy installation in Gulfport, Mississippi, where you'll supervise junior officers, enforce security rules, conduct investigations, and protect the base from threats like unauthorized access or theft.
It involves hands-on patrol work, including checking gates and buildings, searching vehicles, and documenting incidents.

You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of CB CEN GULFPORT SEC DET.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents; 3) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; 4) Distributing workload to junior officers in accordance with priority and skill level.
