Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of electronics technicians to troubleshoot, test, and maintain the AN/SPY-1 radar system on Navy ships, often while at sea or during urgent repairs.
You'll provide hands-on technical support, modify equipment, and guide your team in solving complex problems to keep combat systems running smoothly.
It's a great fit for experienced Navy or defense technicians who enjoy fieldwork, leadership, and working in high-stakes environments abroad.
You will serve as a LEAD ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (AN/SPY-1 RADAR) in the Engineering Department, Combat System Weapons Division, (Code R290) of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA Spain.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as an Electronics Technician performing reviews, onsite inspections and evaluations to provide expert consultation on projects.
Specialized experience may include: 1) Advising financial management staff on the application of funding policy and regulatory requirements.
2) Interpreting, assessing, and projecting potential impact of new or revised congressional legislation.
3) Analyzing data for various financial reports (e.g., budget formulation, budget execution, accounting, audit readiness).
4) Evaluating expenditures to determine compliance with organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial procedures and practices.
