Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an electronics engineer for the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, focusing on overseeing the design, quality, and management of missile, reentry, and guidance systems for strategic weapons like the D5 Trident II.

In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a Professional Engineer utilizing engineering concepts and principles to assess and evaluate engineering systems for the management of Missile, Reentry and Guidance Systems.
