This job is for a lead contract specialist in the U.S.
Marine Corps, where you'll guide a team in managing large-scale government contracts for advanced military systems, from planning and negotiating deals to ensuring everything runs smoothly and on budget.
It's ideal for experienced procurement experts who enjoy leading others, solving complex problems, and advising top officials on buying strategies.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert advice on procurement policies and strategies; analyzing, reviewing, and exercising unlimited contractual authority for contract actions and long-term procurements for the acquisition of major systems; evaluating cost and pricing strategies and data; and leading a team to achieve mission-critical objectives efficiently.
