About the position: This position is located at the La Bella Vista Club, Aviano AB. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 01/23/2026 The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens or NATO country citizens with a valid US permanent resident card and Social Security Number.
In accordance with the Status of Forces agreement between Italy and the US, you must be at Aviano AB on orders and be a US citizen or citizen of a NATO country with a US permanent resident card.
Italian citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, may be eligible for local national positions on base. Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas.
Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country. The 31st Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support.
Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Must have experience performing similar duties. Must be a High School graduate.
Higher education in related field is desirable, but not required. Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate English fluently.
Must possess basic mathematical knowledge and the use of a calculator. Major Duties:
Serves as Lead Cashier, reporting directly to the activity Manager. Performs the daily operations to include maintaining the accountability for the activity change fund.
Prepares cash drawers, verify and approve cashier's funds and balance sheet, balance the change fund and daily deposit accurately and secure the back vault at all times.
Ensures vouchers are accounted for and filled out correctly. Verifies cash, paper work, and cash collections. Ensures that the daily collection funds are verified and deposited.
Performs routine cashier duties as needed. Assists activity manager as he/she directs, develops, and administers plans, programs, and procedures to ensure the higher standard of service.
