Department of Transportation, Airports Division at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Salary: $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR-20, Step D to I)
Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Requirements
The land agents perform and/or supervise or administer work in the acquisition of lands for public purposes, in the disposition of public lands for approved private and public purposes, and in the inspection and enforcement of terms and conditions of land dispositions and provisions of public land laws.
The
Land Agent III independently performs selected assignments in transaction preparation of land acquisitions and dispositions, and routine land inspection and enforcement activities; and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:Legal Authorization to Work:The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Basic Education: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Specialized Experience: One and one-half (1-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional experience which demonstrated knowledge of Hawaii Land laws, real estate laws and terminology, the real property appraisal process, various types of land titles and legal instruments affecting land transactions; and the ability to gather and analyze land transaction data; prepare reports of findings, including conclusions and recommendations, and meet and deal effectively with others.
Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply.
Driver's License: Applicants
must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
Federal Criminal History Records Check: In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the airport, must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check. In order to be granted the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance, prospective employees must not have been convicted, or found "not guilty by reason of insanity," of a disqualifying criminal offense within 10 years from the date of the application. Upon recommendation for hire, prospective employees will be required to successfully undergo the fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding ten years. The cost for the records check will be the applicant's responsibility.
