The current vacancy is with the Department of Land & Natural Resources in Hilo, Hawaii Island.

Salary: $4,243 per month (SR-16, Step D)


Requirements

Duties are performed in support of the Board of Land and Natural Resources' intent to meet the approved social and economic demands of both the public and private sectors of the State of Hawaii.

The Land Agent I serves in a trainee capacity, receiving orientation and training in the activities, work processes and procedures, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to the transaction and management of public lands; and performs other duties as required.

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

Basic Education: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree.

Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements may apply.

Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
