This job involves managing a secure, isolated computer network for a sheriff's office digital forensics team, handling data storage, backups, and security for evidence like seized devices.

The King County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a LAN Administrator - Senior to support the Digital Forensics Unit of the Criminal Investigations Division.
This assignment will maintain services for a high-security and isolated network related to digital evidence, data storage and back-ups of digital evidence, and provide IT support to the investigators assigned to this unit.This position will be a full-time onsite position.
It will be based out of the King County Black River Complex (900 Oakesdale Ave SW, Renton, WA 98057).
This position is eligible for either a 5/8 or 4/10 work schedule, and is exempt, not eligible for overtime – must be available for call out nights, weekends and holidays.
