Summary

This job is for a laborer at a military base's outdoor recreation center, where you'll handle heavy lifting, operate equipment, and maintain facilities to keep things running smoothly.

Full Job Description

This position is located at Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund Outdoor Recreation PGM GNL Equipment Issue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Six(6) month of laboring experience required.

Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possies at least (1) year of experience.

Major Duties:

  • Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighting 80-100 pounds or more.
  • Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
  • Preforms general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring the use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools.
  • Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned.
