Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Maintaining that IT and telecommunication networks are protected and functioning properly. 2.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Experience demonstrating this competency include: Making recommendations for improvement to more senior officials enhancing the effectiveness of work. 3.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Interpreting industry jargon and acronyms when discussing issues with non-IT personnel. 4.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Listening to issues and ensuring appropriate action or solution is selected and executed.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as: -Experience ensuring appropriate software updates and other protective actions have been accomplished by using scanning equipment.
-Experience confirming latest versions of patches and scans are being utilized. -Experience completing appropriate reports ensuring proper submission and filing for inspections and audits.
-Experience working with fiber circuits. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-2210-11.
