Full Job Description

You will serve as an IT Specialist (Network/SYS Analysis) in the Installations Commands of COMMANDER NAVY REGION KOREA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing information technology systems analysis and systems administrator to include network systems capability, cost analysis; AND providing technical guidance over design, maintenance, and quality assurance used in supply, resource and equipment management systems.

  • You will be responsible for IT regional support and HQ activities and serve as a computer specialist and systems administrator.
  • You will design, program, implement, manage, and modify inter-related application systems that are used in supply, maintenance, resource management, quality assurance, and equipment management systems.
  • You will conduct cost analysis of Navy Region Korea requirements for additional telecommunication network services.
  • You will recommendations to the user regarding the most effective and efficient automation approaches.
  • You will prepare detailed written reports with cost estimates and recommend courses of action concerning the results of analysis of Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE).
