Base salary range: $56,527 - $73,486

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and updating websites for a Marine Corps training command, including designing pages with text, images, and videos while ensuring they meet security and privacy standards.
You'll handle technical issues, advise on IT projects, and work with teams to keep online content current and accessible to students, staff, and military personnel.
It's a good fit for someone with hands-on web development experience who enjoys problem-solving in a structured government environment.
You will serve as a IT SPEC (INET) in the US MARINE CORPS, TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of Webpage Design, Content, and Interoperability.
Capable of assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of a web-based programs.
Proficient in designing and creating new pages, verify correctness of content, verify links, and address any security concerns. Ability to Accommodate Internet Site Requests.
Ability to produce pages that include text, photos, graphic images, and streaming video in a format that is viewable by potential students, parents, the School of Infantry staff, other headquarters throughout the Marine Corps Operating Forces and Support Establishments.
Skilled in upgrading websites to keep pace with the improvements in technology and customer demands.
Capable of ensuring that pages are compliant with Federal and Military guidelines for Internet web sites.
Create additional sites for subordinate or supporting organizations that are linked to the main website.
Knowledge, skill, and ability to review content to ensure protecting PII and CUI according to the Privacy Act of 1974 and CUI policies.
