King County's Business Resource Center (BRC) is seeking an IT Project Administrator – Journey to join our team!
The PeopleSoft team plays a critical role in supporting King County’s workforce by implementing labor contracts, providing technical user support, and delivering system modifications and enhancements to the PeopleSoft Human Resources system following change control and quality best practices.
As an IT Project Administrator – Journey, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of key deliverables.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with team members across King County and contribute to the effective implementation of projects that support our HR systems.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTER OVERVIEW
The BRC oversees King County’s business systems, which include applications, infrastructure, software, and vendor relationships. The team also supports business processes, system governance, and work prioritization to effectively serve county agencies.
BRC Director’s Office: This team provides guidance to the BRC and advises county leaders on strategies to enhance the county’s ERP business systems.
They also manage the day-to-day operations of the BRC in support of continuous improvement and a cohesive team approach to govern, manage and support the county’s ERP systems.
BI Insights Team: This team specializes in developing and managing business intelligence analytics across our suite of Oracle ERP applications and SAP Concur.
This team also collaborates and works closely with our business partners and county departments to deliver meaningful analytics in support of county business operations.
The team is committed to expanding the use of analytics tools and enhancing ERP data governance across the county.
Financials and Procurement Team: This team specializes in Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement, Oracle Procurement Cloud and Supplier Cloud, and SAP Concur travel systems.
The team collaborates with our business partners and county departments to deliver finance, procurement, travel expense and treasury services across all county business operations.
HR and Payroll System Team: This team specializes in PeopleSoft HR, payroll, and retirement systems, collaborating with our business partners and county departments to deliver HR, benefits, time and labor, and payroll services across all county business operations.
Shared Services Team: This team specializes in training, change management, and help desk support, along with system security, administration, and licensing.
There is also a highly skilled and technical team of DBAs who manage day to day running and performance of the systems in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as well as coordination of system updates and patches.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position is Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is not overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday.

WORK LOCATION: The BRC team works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is Chinook Building 401 5th Avenue Seattle, Washington, 98104.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
