This job involves managing the IT budget for a state agency focused on probation, parole, and pardon services, including monitoring spending, spotting issues, and suggesting improvements to keep everything on track.
You'll work closely with the budget director to review finances regularly and handle related accounting tasks.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field and professional experience in a related area, such as accounting, auditing, finance, or banking.
A bachelor’s degree and three years of accounting, finance, or business-related experience. Ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting and reporting software (e.g., SCEIS, SRM, etc.). High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines.
Must have ability to analyze and interpret complex budgeting, auditing, and financial data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate financial data for non-financial audiences. Ability to work collaboratively with program and fiscal teams.
