Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing and improving the accuracy of inventory for Navy supplies, including researching errors, analyzing problems, and ensuring proper management in storage and IT systems.
It supports defense facilities by helping with audits, planning warehouse changes, and following military policies.
A good fit would be someone with experience in supply chain or inventory control, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail in a structured environment.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to perform causative research for physical inventory adjustments and understand the causal relationships between erroneous supply processing and inventory problems.; 2) Knowledge of standard statistical sampling concepts, including confidence intervals under a normal distribution.; 3) Participate in planning initiatives that may influence inventory records accuracy, such as major re-warehousing efforts, revisions to receiving/receipt control procedures, or development/implementation of new warehouse management systems.; 4) Assist with audit preparation, site visits, post-audit processes, including material management processes such as goods issue and receipt posting.; 5) Perform analysis, problem determination and draft potential resolution of inventory accuracy processes.
