This position reports to the Employer Tax Services (ETS) Department of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division in one of the five hubs across the state of South Carolina.
The ETS Specialist is responsible for establishing, validating, and reviewing employer liability status to determine employer compliance in accordance with state statues and reporting requirements to ensure employers are properly assessed for contributions.
The selected individual will also answer and respond to employer webform and phone inquiries.

A bachelor's degree; OR a high school diploma with at least one year of experience in auditing, analysis, compliance or a similar field.
Knowledge of laws and government regulations related to tax and agency policy and procedures and the ability to evaluate information to determine compliance.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with individuals inside and outside of the organization, representing Employer Tax Services to customers.
Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends. Other duties as required.
A bachelor's degree and experience in auditing, analysis, compliance, or a similar field.
