Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves designing, building, and maintaining advanced airborne systems for Navy aircraft, both manned and unmanned, while integrating cutting-edge technologies to improve naval aviation.
It requires solving tough engineering problems to deliver solutions that meet performance goals without exceeding budgets or timelines.
Ideal candidates are experienced engineers or scientists passionate about aircraft tech, with a track record in innovation and hands-on system integration.
You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Airborne Systems Integration Division of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD. ***This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10.
If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $143,913 - $187,093.
In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrated success in the advancement and integration of new technologies across the Naval Air Enterprise; 2) Aircraft Guidance, Navigation, and Control experience; 3) Aircraft systems and sensor interface experience; 4) Cockpit displays and controls and experience; 5) Data links experience such as ARCData links, ARC-210, Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT).
