This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS).
The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level.
The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions for series 0132.

Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of the full range of intelligence research, processing, and exploitation methods, techniques, and practices using multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments.
Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

Knowledge of computer network operations to include familiarity and intermediate level of expertise in TCP/IP, LINUS, UNIX and Windows operating systems, Oracle database design and implementation, UNIX scripting and SQL query language.
Knowledge of cyber operations with special emphasis on the role of intelligence to support operational planning and mission execution.
Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision making purposes.
Skilled in the analysis of Space Force network sensor data, to include firewall and Intrusion Detection System design and implementation, HTML coding, encryption techniques, network security techniques, computer viruses and other malicious code, computer hacking techniques and terminology, analysis of network traffic packet data and router protocols in order to determine suspicious network events and trend those events to provide actionable indications and warning in support of Space Force Defensive Cyber Operations.
Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or justify a position effectively.
OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS: An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is highly desirable.
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a cyber intelligence specialist engaging in the processing and exploitation of complex information obtained from multi-intelligence sources through various means, related to political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, scientific, and/or military conditions, trends and forces that directly or indirectly affect national security.
Performs duties involving the processing and exploitation of complex intelligence information.
Situations/information coordinated, integrated, and analyzed are not susceptible to generally accepted methods. Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers.
Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and evaluation derived from ISR assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.
Serves as a functional authority on Cyber ISR Issues. Makes recommendations and defends decisions on operational policy matters to the Squadron Commander and Del 7 Staff.
