The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Project Director, intelligence analyst, and subject matter expert engaged in the technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.

To serve as the champion to deliver a compliant product and data sharing at speed and scale. This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS).

The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level.

The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.

Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments.

Knowledge of advance analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of semi-complex to complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation.

Multi- source analytical expertise from either regional or functional background/training to current and operational intelligence missions.

Demonstrated knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations.

Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

AND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.

Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to interpret policy and commit resources.

2.

Knowledge of SIGINT analysis and production cycle, beginning from the identification of intelligence gaps, formulating collections requirements, collection, processing and exploitation, analysis and production, and dissemination and integration.

3. Knowledge of SIGINT dissemination policies and procedures to facilitate automated dissemination reporting workflows into production.

Ability to quickly assess NSA reporting office requirements and provide guidance to both the reporting office and development team on reasonable solutions.

Should also have skill in basic software process automation and results presentation. 4.

Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.

5. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation. 6.

Knowledge of the national Intelligence Community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter- relationships and operations. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED: 1.

Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. 2.

Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.

Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.

Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

1: Serves as an advisor and primary consultant on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis and production.

Leads a wide variety of complex and non-routine analysis and intelligence production projects to support NSA/CSS enterprise operations.

Keeps abreast of continuing advances in intelligence analysis techniques, production mythologies, and information processing tools to develop and implement experimental/novel approaches to improve products/processes.

2: Develops and presents Automated Dissemination (AD) capabilities to a wide variety of service and national customers.

Provides Commanders and other customers a firm understanding of the AD capabilities suite to assist customers in identifying appropriate workflows for automation.

Recognizes emerging opportunities and streams of reporting eligible for AD and conducts customer outreach to facilitate an understanding of the AD capability suite.

3: Develops and captures metrics related to AD. Manages and executes program metrics identifying trends, issues and responding to senior NSA leadership.

Recommends and develops additional metrics which support business intelligence strengthening program justifications and funding. Automates metrics collection and presentation.

4: Serve as advisor for establishing and evaluating NSA tradecraft in support of IC/DoD wide data dissemination.

ProReview and identifies NSA analytic tradecraft suitable for sharing with IC/DoD partners, in support of NSA's tradecraft sharing process and goals.

Identifies gaps in shared analytic tradecraft and documents gaps to focus new analytic tradecraft development.
