Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a top-level analyst for the Navy's special warfare team, where you'll gather and make sense of intelligence from various sources to advise leaders on threats and strategies.
You'll create reports for high-level meetings, spot missing information, and collaborate with other agencies to fill those gaps.
It's ideal for experienced intelligence professionals who enjoy deep analysis and working in a fast-paced, secure environment.
You will serve as GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist, performing as a senior analyst and subject matter expert with regards to all-source intelligence analysis, tradecraft, and processes in the Analysis and Targeting Division at COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU in Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as: 1.
Interpret, evaluate, and integrate all-source intelligence information to provide a wide range of technical advice to senior leaders. 2.
Serve as a subject matter expert on intelligence analysis, tradecraft, and processes in all-source intelligence analysis and targeting. 3.
Identify intelligence gaps and analyze and apply various intelligence collection methods to task systems effectively and close gaps. 4.
Produce organization and national level products for presentation at high level briefings. 5. Represent the organization by participating in or chairing working groups and conferences.
