The Pennsylvania Insurance Department, Healthcare Division, is seeking a motivated Insurance Investigator 2 to join our team of professionals.
In this role, you will investigate consumer complaints, bring resolutions where possible and determine compliance with existing statutes and regulations.
Your ability to educate consumers and respond to inquiries on matters relating to their insurance needs is key to this position.

As an Insurance Investigator 2, you will play a key role in reviewing and investigating various types of complex consumer complaints in relation to health and disability lines of insurance.
You can expect to prepare detailed notes and written reports in response to complaints and inquiries.
Communication will be key as you handle numerous telephone calls and inquiries from the general public and licensees regarding various insurance regulations, statutes, adjudications, and industry trends.
Your detailed knowledge of insurance principles, practices, and laws will be essential as you handle special assignments and projects as requested by the supervisor or division manager.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
