This job involves reviewing the financial health of insurance companies to make sure they follow state rules and protect customers from risks.
You'll analyze financial statements, write reports, and recommend actions if problems are found.
It's a great fit for someone with a background in accounting or finance who enjoys detailed analysis, working both alone and with a team, and wants to learn more about the insurance world.

Analyze, summarize and review data; report findings, interpret results and make recommendations. Write or draft correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written material.
Gather documentation to support negotiated resolution of non-compliance issues.Conduct financial analysis of various insurance companies to determine significant solvency risks of the insurer through analysis and examination procedures.
Make recommendations for regulatory action when appropriate.Ensure compliance of applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
The Best Qualified CandidateThe best qualified candidate for this position will have:A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
Experience conducting financial audits or performing analysis of financial statements. Working knowledge of insurance industry or experience with managing multiple accounts/projects.
The ability to understand health, life, property, and liability insurance fundamentals and accounting principles.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand.
