About the position: This position is located at Resource Management, Information Technology Office, on F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. This position is Regular Part-Time.

The position is guaranteed 20 hrs/wk, but has the potential to work up to 40 hrs/wk. You may be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.

As a Regular Part-Time employee, you are eligible for leave and benefits; health and life insurance, 401K, and retirement. The starting pay for this position is $28.00/hr.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have specialized experience that provides knowledge of the basic principles, theories, practices, techniques, and terminology of the IT discipline or subject matter field.

Must have experience equivalent to that which would have been gained through a 4-year college curriculum. Mandatory minimum of 2 years specialized IT field experience.

A 4-year degree in computer science or related field, may be in combination with experience.

(Minimum listed above is still mandatory.) Must have a Security+ or A+ Certification, which must be kept current within Air Force regulations.

Knowledge of DoD and Air Force automated data processing and networking standards. Ability to apply knowledge of current automation technology and practices to organizational functions.

Knowledge of functional computer networks, software, and hardware problems, and develop effective and economical solutions and/or recommendations.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and possess good customer service skills. Major Duties:

PHYSICAL EFFORTS: There is physical exertion involved in the work (climbing, lifting, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, bending, etc.) and requires the ability to lift up-to 60lbs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Knowledge of/Skill in: applying systems analysis concepts and methods, customer business requirements, applications software design concepts and methods, customer support principles, concepts, and methods, and analytical reasoning.

Knowledge must be sufficient to develop technical requirements for new or modified applications, analyze and determine optimal hardware and software configurations, provide technical guidance in the design, coding, testing, and debugging process, assist customers in installing applications, troubleshoot post-installation problems; and coordinate the technical support of deployed applications.

Responsible for testing/installing, operating, managing, and maintaining network services at all 90th Force Support Squadron (FSS) in-house servers/internal networks, including: WebRes Pro, Aloha Point of Sales (POS), Qubica (POS), Services Employee Timekeeping System (SETS), Prophet System, and RecTrac.

Responsible for all aspects of Information Technology (IT) services and systems operated by the 90th FSS problems.

Develops migration plans for the deployment/implementation of new hardware, operating systems, applications, and security modifications.

Develops monitoring procedures to identify and assist in resolving network-related problems within the organization.

Develops system configuration procedures/checklists to ensure systems meet current standardization requirements and certification requirements.

Recommends selection of and performs installation of new computer systems and software and maintaining all computer systems. Evaluates user requests for additional computer hardware and software.

Develops and implements security plans, procedures, and training to comply with Wing, Air Force, and the Department of Defense standards.

Acts as various systems/programs point of contact including (but not limited to) Information Assurance Officer (IAO), Computer Support Technician (CST), Telephone Control Officer (TCO), Records Custodian, and Payment Card industry monitor.

Maintains Network Privileged User (Admin Token) status. Properly installs, configures, and troubleshoots network and application server hardware, workstations, peripherals, etc.

Serves as the Unit System Administrator (SA), Unit Focal Point for Information Assurance and Equipment Custodian (EC).

Coordinates the disposal of obsolete inventory with proper documentation and authorization. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
