Full Job Description

This position is part of the Department of War (DoW), Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

The incumbent will support sustainment of the Decision Advantage Platform environments, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.

You may qualify at the NH-03 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 3 of the 5 specialized experience listed below to be qualified: Designing, developing, and deploying applications or automated workflows using low-code, no-code, or pro-code development platforms in support of organizational decision-making.

Integrating disparate data sources into application environments or analytics platforms, including designing system interfaces and data pipelines across multiple security domains.

Developing and delivering technical training, user guides, or community-building events to drive adoption of new technologies or platforms across an organization.

Managing user access, role-based access controls, and onboarding processes on platforms supporting mission-critical operations.

Applying security principles and access control policies to ensure applications and platforms comply with organizational and regulatory security requirements.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

As a Information Technology Specialist (AI) at the NH-2210-3 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Designs, develops, deploys, and sustains decision applications and automated workflows using DoD-approved low-code, no-code, and pro-code technologies to enable AI-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

Designs and implements data integrations that connect disparate data sources to application environments across CUI and SECRET domains, ensuring compliance with data governance standards and security requirements.

Organizes and leads training events, communities of practice, hackathons, and learning forums to accelerate adoption of MDA data and AI initiatives and foster a data-driven workforce.

Manages access processes, user provisioning, role-based access controls, and onboarding workflows to empower builders within the MDA community to develop applications on Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO)-managed platforms.

Supports sustainment of the Decision Advantage Platform environments, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams.
