This job involves managing and overseeing large-scale IT service contracts for NASA, ensuring contractors deliver on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
You'll act as a key liaison between contractors, agency leaders, and technical teams to resolve issues and keep IT services running smoothly for space missions and operations.

Serves as an Information Technology Specialist and Contracting Officer's Representative supporting enterprise Information Technology service contracts within the IT Contracts Management Branch of the Enterprise Business Management Office.
Oversees contractor performance, reviews deliverables and invoices, coordinates with stakeholders, and supports contract execution to ensure effective delivery of Agency IT services.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Monitoring contractor performance against contract requirements, service level agreements, and performance metrics for Information Technology services; Reviewing contractor deliverables, invoices, and supporting documentation to determine compliance with contract terms and performance requirements; Coordinating with contracting officers, technical stakeholders, and program leadership to address contract performance issues and support acquisition activities.
AND IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
