Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or a closely related field is required.

A minimum of four years of progressively responsible IT experience is also required and must reflect competency in desktop lifecycle support, system deployment, enterprise software or POS technologies, networking fundamentals, or comparable technical environments.

At least one year of supervisory or team-lead experience directing technical personnel or managing IT projects is required.

As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems must possess or receive Information Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment and thereafter must complete annual Information Assurance awareness training.

Must be able to understand, validate, and, when needed, perform technician-level work to ensure consistent and accurate execution of IT standards.

Experience applying cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT governance requirements within a regulated or enterprise setting is required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 background investigation (Secret clearance) and the Security+ certification within six months of employment. Major Duties:

What to Expect Responsible for the strategic planning, operational management, technical oversight, and end-to-end execution of local MCCS IT services, programs, and enterprise initiatives.

Oversees the full IT portfolio including desktop services, point-of-sale systems, retail and food service technologies, recreation and fitness systems, accounting systems, network dependencies, cybersecurity compliance, system lifecycle management, and enterprise deployments.

Requires active involvement in operational processes, troubleshooting, ticket work, and technical learning to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality within the IT Division.

Provides regular status reports to Headquarters, the MCCS Assistant Chief of Staff, the Deputy Director MCCS - MCIEAST, MCCS Division Directors and other MCCS operational components regarding policies and projects.

Ensures the reliability, security, and performance of the MCCS technology environment, maintains required documentation, and supports mission-essential operations during emergency situations.

This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. This position is designated "Mission Essential".

In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (nature or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
