Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Minimum one year of experience in providing assistance in making travel/activity arrangements or performing related work preferred.

Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures. Skill in communicating effectively both orally and in writing.

Skill to operate a personal computer and associated software. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs. independently and objects over 45 lbs.

with assistance. Major Duties:

Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as the following: ITT Offices & Tradewind Travel/Leisure Travel.

Performs and/or assists in the operation of the ITT Office activity.

Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.

Typical assignments may include: Provides information and sells tickets to patrons on local entertainment and other activities such as sporting events, concerts, outer-Island tours, etc.

Incumbent must be proactive in becoming familiar with these activities and reservation procedures of vendors.

Maintains daily sales report, daily account report, and expenditures; reviews vendor invoices and resolves billing disputes, and effects adjustments for discounts and service charges.

Helps to plan and coordinate details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants.

Plans leisure travel within Hawaii to include air, room, car and cruises. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.

Assists customers. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly.

Alerts the higher level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Able to perform daily duties with little or no supervision.

Performs other related duties as assigned, Works at Kaneohe Bay and Camp Smith ITT Offices.
