This position allows you to utilize your specialized skill set to provide support to the Public Safety Delivery Center’s (PSDC) SharePoint Development, Test, and Production environments, involving installation, configuration, administration, and security management. Requirements
As an IT Generalist Administrator 1, you will serve as the SharePoint administrator and developer for the PSDC, where you will be maintaining and enhancing multiple SharePoint environments. Work involves installing and upgrading SharePoint farms, configuring web applications and site collections, as well as managing system security, service packs, and cumulative updates. You will have the opportunity to troubleshoot technical issues, support content administrators, and ensure all PSDC SharePoint environments operate efficiently and securely. Within this role, you will also serve as a hands-on administrator for PSDC agency portals, such as the PSP iNet and the DOC (Department of Corrections), PBPP (Pennsylvania Board of Probation & Parole), and PCCD (Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency) intranet sites. This involves designing, developing, and maintaining agency portals in compliance with OA standards; re-engineering legacy applications into Power Platform solutions; and collaborating with Pennsylvania Interactive (PAI) and agency Communications Offices on site design, navigation, accessibility, and taxonomy. Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing applications and automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerShell scripting
- Providing technical consultation and training to agency personnel
- Monitoring on-premises and cloud environments
- Participating in modernization and continuity of government initiatives

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2; or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires two or more years of full-time professional experience with Microsoft SharePoint SE Administration.
- This particular position also requires two or more years of full-time professional experience with Windows Server and IIS Administration.
- This particular position also requires two or more years of full-time professional experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate).
