The location of this position will be in the following county: Kanawha.
Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
Travel to various State Agencies to perform work and maintain accurate mileage records.
Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
Serve as the Desktop Support Team Lead for the Kanawha Field group overseeing the work of lower-level IT technicians.
Function as first contact on internal escalation of complex and advanced customer issues.
Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Memorandum of understanding (MOU) requirements are met.
Lead and assist in major collaborative projects including office moves, expansions, remodels and hardware/software refreshes.
Use advanced level problem solving skills, technical onsite support and remote tools.
Provide accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner.
Check the ITSM (Ivanti) daily to ensure all incidents and tasks are thoroughly documented, work is included and up to date, and deadlines are not missed.
Ensure lower-level technicians receive appropriate training to be able to cover tasks in all agencies in their geographic area.
Actively participate in Google Chat Spaces for Client Services Field Staff and your assigned region providing advanced level.
Employee scheduling, reviewing and approving timecards, approving travel, scheduling daily assignment of incidents and tasks.
Ensuring that work is distributed fairly and equitably.
Work on a rotating call out schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
