Summary

Full Job Description

You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Office of Intelligence Operations of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing guidance or assistance for the processing of a classified intelligence-related contracting and record management program by maintaining contact and coordinating with various security organizations for security matters of mutual interest.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the command's principal team member for intelligence-related contracts record management program.
  • You will support the command's processing of classified intelligence-related contracting and associated records management.
  • You will gather the necessary groundwork information and presents structured training to all NAVSEA and affiliated PEO on how to process intelligence related contracts and the associated records management policies and procedures.
  • You will execute the required actions to approve and process intelligence-related contract supporting the technical provisions to establish intelligence related contractual vehicles formulated to back the command's mission.
  • You will work with the contracting officer, the contracting officer's technical representative (COR/COTR), comptroller, general security, and others to execute contract requirements.
  • You will participate in special task groups (both command and government-wide) to review specific intelligence requirements provided on the preparation guide or forms.
  • You will maintain direct liaison with various security organizations by coordinating with different government contract technical monitors.
  • You will maintain liaison with other agencies and departments to coordinate contracting and security matters of mutual interest.
  • You will prepare technical and classified documents, routine correspondences, and messages for signature of senior intelligence official (SIO) and/or special security officer (SSO).
  • You will provide technical guidance to lower-level management analysts, specialists and trainees on each of the aspects of intelligence related contracting and the associated records management program.
