Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

In addition to the Basic Education Requirement (see Education), your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting inspections and applying industrial hygiene concepts, principles and practices.
Experience recognizing and evaluating occupational health hazards, including those for which the nature and extent of the hazard is not completely understood.
Experience devising a variety of control measures, including ventilation, shielding, material substitution, change in work procedures, isolation, education, personal protective devices.
Experience evaluating proposed new work processes and/or materials and recommend measures to minimize health hazards.
Experience with Federal, DoD, Navy and other relevant regulations pertaining to occupational health and hazardous materials. Experience using industrial hygiene sampling techniques and instrumentation.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software products (e.g.
Word, Excel, and/or Access), and Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS - IH) or similar.
