Pay Schedule XII, Grade 1M, Regular Schedule: 35 hours per week

Job Purpose
Under general supervision, oversees the daily management operations of the Senior Resources Unit, which includes: Senior Home Safety/BCAUSE, Cleaning Services, Clutter Disposal, Pest Control Services, Home Delivered Meals, Adult Day Care Subsidy, Senior Care, and Services for Seniors in Need.
Required Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science;
Plus
Four years of experience providing human services, such as intake/referral, counseling, or educating, which includes one year in a supervisory capacity.
Related education beyond a bachelor's degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required non-supervisory experience.Some positions may require employees to complete County-sponsored CPR and First Aid training satisfactorily.
Employees must maintain this certification throughout their employment.Employees in this classification may be assigned to work shifts that include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
They may also be called to duty in emergencies and may be required to work overtime as necessary.Physical and Environmental Conditions These positions are primarily sedentary but involve occasional walking, lifting, or other limited physical activities.
Employees will be required to travel between work sites.Medical Examination and Employment Background InvestigationApplicants selected for a position in Baltimore County must successfully complete a physical examination, drug screening, and an employment background investigation.
This investigation will include, but is not limited to, a criminal background check, verification of education, and a fingerprint check.
