As a Human Services Analyst, you will provide expert technical guidance and professional development to staff and juvenile justice providers across Pennsylvania.
Your core responsibility will be to reduce delinquency by developing programs aligned with Balanced and Restorative Justice principles.
You will identify and implement proven strategies within the Youth Development Center and Youth Forestry Camp (YDC/YFC) system while offering specialized assistance to public and private human service agencies.
In this role, you will lead the creation of facility-specific training plans and maintain oversight of the BJJS Juvenile Justice Academy's curriculum.
Beyond training, you will collaborate with the Office of Children, Youth and Families to develop critical policies and procedures that shape the state's juvenile justice landscape.
By aligning the YDC/YFC system with Pennsylvania's Juvenile Justice System Enhancement Strategy, you will play a vital part in systemic reform.
This position requires a high degree of independence and travel throughout the Commonwealth to ensure the successful delivery of these essential services.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Danville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
