Requirements

As a Human Services Analyst within the Eligibility, Enrollment, and Capitation Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of managed care data through the evaluation of mainframe outputs and batch process reports. By identifying anomalies and investigating discrepancies, you will maintain high standards of data accuracy for the department and its business partners. You will play a key role in resolving complex technical issues within the electronic Client Information System and evaluating business requirements for essential system enhancements. Collaboration is central to this role, as you will work alongside systems analysts and developers to design and implement enrollment solutions that align with Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) initiatives. You must effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, including state staff and federal representatives, through formal writing and oral presentations. Additionally, you will lead business meetings and conduct specialized research studies to provide the technical insights necessary for high-level management evaluation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
