Requirements

As a Human Services Analyst, you will oversee the state centers Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program, staff wellness activities, and employee recognition activities.

You will provide opportunities to improve staff wellness by developing CISM programs for staff who witness or participate in traumatic events.

You will also assign staff at all state centers and maintain training certifications, coordinate speakers and recovery plans that promote staff wellness, and serve as the bureau level administrator for staff credentialling.

This role requires strong organizational skills and a genuine desire to promote wellness activities that will benefit individual employees, the organization, and improve the quality of services provided to residents at our state centers.

In addition, you will represent BSOF at public events and frequently travel to Ebensburg Center, Selinsgrove Center and the Harrisburg Central Office.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
