This entry-level human resources role in the US Army supports managers and employees with everyday HR tasks like hiring, training, benefits, and resolving workplace issues, primarily for nonappropriated fund positions.
It's a developmental job that starts with basic experience and grows into more advanced responsibilities over time.
Ideal candidates are those with some HR office background, strong computer skills, and a desire to work in a military support environment.
This position could be located at the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Human Resources Office, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Fort Huachuca, Arizona or Fort Sill, Oklahoma Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level, NF-0201-04 NF-03 - (NAF/Developmental) A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.
Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing, Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations or Training.
2. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 3. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems. NF-04 1.
Possess eighteen (18) months or more of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies: Staffing, Recruitment, Position Classification, Management Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Training.
2. Experience analyzing, evaluating and recommending appropriate resolutions to complex interrelated Human Resources problems and issues. 3.
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.
The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower pay band (NF-03).
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess twelve (12) months of prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office and have successfully completed of training in Basic Staffing, Customer Service, Organizational Structure, Basic Writing, and Time Management or completion of Career Path I.
