Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves advising on workplace issues like employee discipline, performance reviews, and handling complaints in the Navy's human resources team.
You'll help managers resolve conflicts, analyze programs for effectiveness, and develop plans to support staff across naval installations.

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the TOTAL FORCE MANPOWER (N1) DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advise management on employee and labor relations and performance management issues such as doctrine of progressive discipline, adverse actions, performance-based actions, performance improvement plan, administrative grievances, and Merit Systems Protection Board hearings; 2) Analyze the effectiveness and quality of a performance management program; and 3) Write critical elements and resolutions of performance management issues.
