Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

The NASA Shared Services Center is seeking skilled individuals to serve as a Human Resources Specialist responsible for providing advisory services and operational support in one or more human resources functional areas.
Initial selections will be made for Staffing Specialists. Assignments increase in scope, complexity, and independence based on grade level.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-11, you must have: a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level Providing advisory, consulting, or technical services in one or more Human Resources functional areas; Applying Human Resources principles, regulations, and policies to resolve conventional issues and problems; Conducting factfinding and recommending solutions to resolve factual, procedural, and/or recurring Human Resources issues OR b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D.
or equivalent) in an appropriate field OR c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.
degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field OR d) LL.M., if related OR e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level: Providing advisory/consultative services related to human resources products and services; Applying HR laws, regulations, policies, program principles to resolve human resources matters in one or more HR functional areas; Identifying, evaluating, and recommending solutions for HR problems and issue To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Providing senior-level human resources advisory services on complex or sensitive issues; Interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and policy to resolve difficult HR matters; Advising management on strategic or operational HR decisions.
