This job is for a senior human resources leader in the U.S.
Marine Corps, where you'll guide military commanders and managers on all aspects of civilian employee management, from hiring and training to policy development and resolving workplace issues.
It's ideal for experienced HR professionals who enjoy strategic planning and advising top executives in a government or military setting.
The role involves overseeing HR programs to support the organization's goals while staying current on best practices.
You will serve as the Human Resources Director (HRD) of the Civilian Human Resources Office for the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC), MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR (MCAGCC).
You will serve as the principal advisor and technical authority to the Commanding General, Chief of Staff, Commanding Officers, managers and supervisors on all civilian HR programs and policies.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing human resources program operations (e.g.
short and long-term planning, setting priorities, estimating resources) to provide technical guidance and advisory services to management, to include developing and implementing human resources policy and procedures in support of organizational goals and objectives.
