Full Job Description

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S.

Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, National Programs Division located in Washington, D.C.

Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Planning, developing, and evaluating complex human resources projects and cross-functional efforts by applying established project management principles and tools.

Designing and producing dashboards, visualizations, and analytical products (e.g., in Power BI and other tools) that clearly communicate findings and support business operations and leadership.

Understanding of federal HR laws and regulations to ensure all proposed solutions, plans and policy integrations are compliant with mandates and agency requirements.

Preparing position papers, briefings and reports on human resources projects, issues, and initiatives for internal and external stakeholders including senior-level HRM leadership.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is a federal law enforcement agency that requires all applicants to undergo a thorough background investigation prior to employment in order to promote the agency's core values of vigilance, service to country, and integrity.
