Requirements

As a Human Resource Analyst 3, you will oversee the daily human resource operations at the Southeastern Veterans' Center.

You will supervise a staff performing human resource functions including employee relations, workforce support, and timekeeping.

You will also serve as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, improve communications, and enhance overall employee satisfaction.

This role requires thorough knowledge of organizational objectives to apply policies and collective bargaining agreements fairly and consistently as well as effective communication to collaborate with DMVA headquarters and Office of Administration (OA) staff.

In addition, you will mentor and coach new hires, current employees, managers, and supervisors, plus offer employees guidance on career development, goal setting, and skills enhancement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Three years of analytical experience that includes two years of professional human resource experience, and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
