In this HR Analyst 2 position, you will be responsible for investigations and contract interpretations on behalf of the assigned agencies interests as well as providing employee relations related guidance to managers and supervisors.
Work involves reviewing discipline requests from management and contractual grievances employees, conducting fact findings, scheduling and conducting meetings, and preparing reports.
Our team will rely on you to provide guidance, assistance, and training to supervisory and management personnel concerning labor/management issues.
This includes the development, implementation, and enforcement of work performance plans, sick leave use issues, progressive discipline, and all other corrective actions.
Effectively interpreting collective bargaining agreements as well as interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and other rules is essential for your responsibility to provide accurate and appropriate advice to supervisory and management personnel in these circumstances.
Your work will also include assisting with contract negotiations, preparing for arbitration cases, and participating in the investigation of issues that may have statewide impact, financial liability, and critical sensitivity.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
