Summary

This role involves coordinating and supporting a program focused on improving how people interact with government services by gathering feedback, analyzing data, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Experience supporting planning, performance monitoring, and internal communications
  • Proficiency in preparing summaries, presentations, and materials for stakeholders

What you will enjoy doing:

The Human Experience Program (HX) helps the agency design and improve processes, provide services, and make decisions with a human-centered lens.

The HX Team does this by understanding stakeholder needs and experiences, surfacing insights from feedback and performance data, and promoting continuous improvement.

Our services include human-centered design and experience advocacy and data visualization and analysis.

You will support the Program Manager and the Program as a whole to achieve HX Program outcomes by coordinating enterprise work, monitoring program performance, and ensuring that experience-related initiatives, insights, and recommendations are delivered in a timely, consistent, and effective manner.

Requirements


Some of what you'll enjoy doing includes:
  • Coordinate HX program work across data, design, and advisory functions to ensure deliverables align with enterprise priorities and timelines.
  • Track progress of experience-related initiatives, requests, and commitments and identify risks or bottlenecks to successful delivery.
  • Support planning and sequencing of HX work based on capacity, readiness, and impact.
  • Serve as a coordination point between the HX program and internal partners to support effective engagement.
  • Manage intake of requests for HX support and apply established prioritization criteria.
  • Maintain visibility into the HX portfolio of work, including status, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Support refinement of intake and prioritization processes to improve transparency and equity.
  • Prepare summaries and recommendations related to workload, capacity, and demand trends.
  • Support development and tracking of HX program performance indicators aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Monitor whether experience insights and recommendations are delivered, understood, and used.
  • Maintain HX program artifacts, templates, and guidance to ensure consistent application of standards.
  • Support adoption of HX standards by ensuring materials are current, accessible, and usable.
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and emerging practices across HX engagements.
  • Support internal communication of HX methods, expectations, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and produce high-quality proposals, presentations, briefings, summaries, and materials that support understanding of HX work and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HX data and design staff to align workflows and outputs.

Qualifications


REQUIRED:


[OPTION 1]

At least six years of experience in public administration, business, communications, data management, employee/customer relations, or a related field.

[OPTION 2]

An Associate’s degree

AND

Four years of experience in public administration, business, communications, data management, employee/customer relations, or a related field.

[OPTION 3]

A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, communications, data management, employee/customer relations, or a related field

AND

Two years of experience in public administration, business, communications, data management, employee/customer relations, or a related field.

[OPTION 4]

A Master’s degree in public administration, business, communications, data management, employee/customer relations, or a related field

PREFERRED:

  • Ability to connect with employees at all levels and work across organizational boundaries.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in change management and the ability to support cultural shifts within an organization.
  • Experience in Lean and the ability to support process improvement and systems thinking.
  • Ability to organize and facilitate complex projects and deal with multiple high priorities under deadline.
  • Understanding of human-centered design and performance concepts.
